Montesino Ranch

Of the ranch’s 172 acres, approximately 60 acres are in the valley and 110 acres are the wild mountain and canyon that make up Montesino Mountain Preserve. Three watering ponds provide year round water for our native wildlife. In the valley, our miniature Hereford cattle herd is free to roam around the ranch grazing on native grasses.  They also enjoy three improved pastures. Their companions include two miniature Sicilian donkeys and nine dwarf Nigerian goats.  All in all our domestic stock have got a pretty nice gig. Our miniature Herefords are excellent examples of the breed. Blending heritage bloodlines from Texas and Canada our stock has been refined over the last ten years.  For grass-fed all natural Montesino beef, please contact Pam (512)923-2650
